lol ours used to be like mid september (think 2nd week; 13, 14, 15,) they recently moved it also in 2015ish to like sept. 1-5 and this year is the first year it starts in august.
I’m pretty sure it’s the Tuesday after Labor Day so 9/7 this year but I could be wrong.
Where are you from? NE/Mid-Atlantic school calendar (even public) typically runs later than the south. They also finish the year later.

It’s been so hot out in New York. Just finished swimming! 81 degrees

Omg…I just found out one of my old friend’s dad works at Loomis as the head of theatre department! Kinda cool, surprised I didn’t find out earlier.
LOL no one even knows what Exeter or Andover is in my area…everyone knows Lville though 
nobody in my area (except for my old friend who I suscept he may be going to Loomis next year) even knows about boarding school. Someone even asked me if it was that hard to get into Andover
