*The OFFICIAL MARCH 15 MAKEUP SAT THREAD*

"did you get 1.99 or 16 for grid0ins."

That was one of the answers for the last problem of one of the math sections. It was a shape and it said that the slope of a line was between .50 and .55. I plugged .52 in as the slope, and my answer was 1.96. I'm pretty sure any answer in that range is correct.

Also what did u guys get for the one with the pie graph about the different cars. The first question asked what % would like 75% of the motorcycles and 10% of the white cars. Did anyone get like 10? And the second part of that question asked the ratios and i got 1:2.

yes 10% and 1:2

anyone remember the synonym of curiously in the CR passage? was it interestingly?

wooooow, take a look at this. they had like the same test. ***.
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-preparation/257329-cr-sentence-completion-vocab.html?highlight=sentence+completion

wowo thats crazy. that looks to be the 2006 test?! its basically the same exact CR. if i had known that before haha

i knowwwww. and i looked at the discussion and they had some of the same math too. but their cr was like exactly the same.

***?!?!?!

is that even allowed?

put up the link to the math/ writing section discussion.

cars-

what question was this dude?
can you type it out?
was it the one that asked the % of white cars with the % of white trucks or something?

it was a pie graph of parked cars. four wheel cars, two wheel cars or something like that, then motor cycles and trucks. the total % values added up to 100 so u could use the % to say there were say 45 trucks in the parking lot(i forget the actual #s)

i do remember 10% of the cars were white

i didnt get my scores today. when will they come?!

Same with all the rest of us make-up testers; we get ours on the 28th.

One quick question- Will the curves that are applied to the March 1st SAT also be used for us or will we recieve a seperate curve? BY reading other forums I hear that there is no curve for math and -2 = 800 for reading. Any ideas?

i heard all the tests have a "pre-curve" meaning that they have already been curved based on how people did when the test was experimental...

When you guys go to My SAT does anything show up? Mine is all blank... Nothing showing that I took the test

nope, nothing shows up...I was told to come back to the site on March 28 and my scores will be there, so I'm assuming it's the same for you

ok, thanks, i cant wait...

Anyone get their scores?

i havent gotten mine yet...but i see a general note on collegeboard.com saying "check back april 4" and if thats true im so mad

Same here thats why I'm annoyed

I got mine everybody. It's probably your schools fault not collegeboard's.

Anyways I made:

760-CR
700-Math
720-Writing (10 Essay, 71 Grammar)

The curves were decent. Here is how I think they stack up:

CR: 4x = 760, 2x = 780/790
Math: 5x = 700, 4x = 720, 3x = 740, 2x = 760, 1x = 780
Writing: (based on 10 essay) 4x = 720, 3X = 740, 2x = 760, 1x = 780
(based on 12 essay) 4x = 770, 3x = 780, 2x = 790, 1x = 800

Good luck waiting y'all.
