The Official "My Letter isn't here yet" thread

Congratulations to all the SCEA people on the west coast that got in, and my condolences to those who did not.

But I live near Chicago, and I my letter (dare I hope for a thick package??) is sitting in some post office somewhere, rotting.

sigh

Misery LOVES company; if you applied SCEA and haven't yet gotten your letter, post here :)

haven't gotten my letter. It sucks, because I'll get it the day before the final exams start. If i get in (a divine miracle), I will be too happy to study for stupid finals. If I get rejected, I'll be too depressed to study for finals!!

im in the exact same spot as you paul!!

Luckily, my finals don't start until next week, so I'll have a week of recovery beforehand.

yeah.. mine are tomorrow.

When do you guys think non-West Coast packages/letters will arrive?

I'm hoping for Monday...US Post is pretty reliable...Tuesday at latest I think?

Heh, but I don't know anything.

i was hoping monday also.

My letter isn't here yet.

Yea same. NYC has yet to hear - hopefully Monday. I'll have my mom call me at school if it gets here and I'll come straight home to read it.

I'm on the East Coast too, and my finals start Tuesday. I'm hoping for MOnday for letters to arrive, but then I'm in trouble with finals!

according to usps, it'll take 3 days from palo alto to the nyc area...so that means tuesday

My mom got something other from mailed from California a week or so ago, and she was surprised because it came 2 days after they mailed it. She lives near Philadelphia, by the way. So Monday's definitely not outside the realm of possibility.

Even if they don't DELIVER on Sunday, does the Postal Service still run amok about the country getting letters to the correct post offices? I hope so, but I'm not sure if it does.

I haven't gotten my letter from MIT yet. I'm smack dab in the middle of the country, so it'd be about the same time waiting for Stanford if I had done SCEA there as it is right now waiting for MIT. Baaaaah.

::nervous twitch::

Yeah, I got my complete card 3 days after it was postmarked...which means Monday!

Ooh, good thinking StressedOutSenior!

wouldnt three days mean tuesday?

I'm still waiting for it in Seattle. Hopefully that trip only takes two days...

I live in San Diego and still haven't received mine. I don't think Los Angeles applicants got theirs either... in fact, I don't think anyone outside a 100 mile radius of Stanford got theirs.

Well my complete card was postmarked on the 19th (a Friday) and I got it the following Monday (22nd). So hopefully, my letter will arrive tomorrow, which would be 2 or 3 days depending on how you look at it!
