i hear you, collegehopeful! Everytime I go to CC and read posts on Stanford, I freak out. but for some odd reason, I've been here like 10 times today...

I just want to go to sleep (not dream anything) and wake up at the mailbox tommorow.

That way, if I don't get in I can go back to sleep, or if I do I'll have lots of energy to celebrate.

Man, I just want to find out! The suspense is killing me... I'm going to bed.

just pop in 40 oz. to freedom by sublime...guaranteed feel good music

I'm freaking too...

I think I'll just try and go to sleep with my iPod and then coast through school tomorrow.

The half hour wait for the mail is gonna be killer...

-Ender

Did anyone from the Midwest hear from SCEA today??

...nonetheless, GOOD LUCK everyone =D

Man... I just had a VERY vivid dream that I was deferred.. it took me a long time after I woke up to realize that it hadn't actually happened! Bad omen.,...

Not a bad omen. I was praying last night, and it hit me how likely it would be that I got deferred... i feared it was a sign from God.... but i think we're just psyching ourselves out. and a defferel isn't terrible anyways. Good luck.

No decision for me today. Hopefully tomorrow. :(

not here yet (GA) :(

I had a nightmare that I was in a giant space station on an anti-gravity jetski type thing and I was trying to escape, and it was a big dark hallway literally covered with gigantic bugs.

What the &!#@(&$(*&$ does this mean?

No decision today, but I stopped by the post office and had a chat with the lady behind the desk. She said I should have it by wednesday but more likely than not I will get it tomorrow. Keep in mind I live in Maine, therefore everyone in the U.S. should have it by tomorrow

Not yet in NYC

im in NYC, and I got it 2day

I live in Florida and I got my (very good!) letter today, so good luck to all of you east-coasters. If not today, then tomorrow. :)

raven, strange that you got it, but aforapple in ga didnt. hmm!

I'm in Iowa, and it still isn't here yet. The wait is terrible!

I got mine today in Nebraska. Deferred.

Wash DC, didn't get mine and like half of my friends got into college today. I'm very upset, to say the least.

Just to clarify:
According to the method of mailing Stanford used is the letter absolutely guaranteed to arrive tomorrow for everyone in the US? I'm somewhat confused as to whether these 1-3 day statements on the USPS site are estimates or firm commitments.

Not guaranteed but highly likely
