Well, it's that time of year again - a time to reflect on the past 365 days and be grateful and reminiscent, as well as somewhat critical; we're not perfect and never will be, but whatever character flaws we can see and correct is one small step in that direction. Hence the purpose of these resolutions.

I myself have a small list of things I personally hope I've got the fortitude and willpower to see through during this upcoming year:
[ul]
[li] Read more. Much more. Over the past three and some years of high school, the amount of time I've devoted to recreational reading has dwindled to be almost nonexistent - I let education get in the way of my learning in this sense.
[/li]

[li] Get organized and on schedule - and stay that way. This is similar to the classic "don't procrastinate", except that it isn't self-defeating. (Seriously, "don't procrastinate" seems to be merely a procrastination on procrastination.)
[/li]

[li] Related to the previous resolution: get more sleep at a reasonable hour.
[/li]

[li] Get a driver's licence - I've put this off way too long.
[/li]

[li] Get a part-time job - time to get some financial independence and experience before I head off to college.
[/li]

[li] Hang out with friends more often: It's my senior year - 'nuff said.[/li][/ul]

I know this is a few days early but: what resolutions do you have?
