She had an 1890, I heard.
And AFAIK, grandfather is the strongest legacy you can have… it goes Grandparents>Parents>Siblings
Not sure about uncles and aunts

Stop freaking out people! Have a little faith and hope for the best!

BY frikin 205 RUNS!!! That’s totally awesome!

^^^^Posts are moving too fast! I hadnt seen yours. Loadshedding here bye :)

^^^ legacy doesn’t count for a whole lot if you don’t donate. but, because of the intensely competitive nature of international admissions, it can become a strong tipping factor (as can citizenship, etc etc).

Agree’d. 10char

I got offer from HKU with full scholarship! I am so relieved that I will not have to go LUMS(I used to see nightmares about going there) in any case now :D

congratulations!! HKU is pretty damn awesome!

and, lol, LUMS is a very good school. those ‘nightmares’ you saw were probably just BS. :)

@ Hafiz57… HEY CONGRATZ! which program did u apply for?

if we continue at the rate at which we’ve been going today, we’ll cross it in like a week,

i think legacy does count for ivies and DEFINATELY USC values legacy ALOTTTT! THAT “TROJAN” spirit encourages everyone to “FIGHT ON!” their is this saying in cali that if UCLA rejects you you can go the the other"dark side" of the city and learn to “fighton” hahha i find that hilarious.IMPO i think usc is better more diverse than UCLA:p i know some of my CC hommies got into it aswell:P

Seriously lums won’t work for me at all. I don’t really want to go to a place that doesn’t do justice with the efforts I have been putting in for last 5 years.
