<p>Seeing CMU on the list, I’m guessing you aren’t applying for financial aid, so you stand at a better chance then mine atleast.</p>

<p>nope. no financial aid required. Well i suck at essays, and my previous sat score wasnt amazing at 1970. I hope to improve it to at least a 2150</p>
<p>You got plenty of time to improve both I’d say. Next SAT is in Oct. Plus you have almost same the time for your essays.</p>

<p>Im from Lahore American School, you might have heard of it :P! it sucks that MIT has EA for just Americans!! warna i would’ve definitely applied EA there! so what did you get on your sat?</p>
<p>haha, Exactly, that is kind of suckish that the wont let us apply EA, well I’m yet to take SAT I in oct and SAT II in Nov, so I guess I cant apply ED or EA to any of the colleges.
Well the fact is lack of guidance that I havent already taken SAT yet. 
Colleges following the federal system of education dont really give us much guidance except for cramming books and the fact I was in Military College, I couldnt go for A-levels when I was grounded on Medical Conditions :(</p>
<p>Yeah! Our guidance office told us to get sat over with in junior year. But most people will give it one more time this year. And Sat 2s are still left, those ill do in november or december probably. haha how are you so sure the SAT is a strong point when you havent even given it. IMO the SAT is the worst, it doesn’t actually judge how well youre gonna do in college or whatever. I might apply EA or ED to some places though. You can get your november scores rushed to them so its still possible</p>
<p>Haha, well its like a bit early for me to say that but I have been working hard on it for like last 2 months since I screwed my academics in every possible way, plus us cadets, we have like a ton of confidence on what we are doing is right

<p>well its more of a tragic story 
Getting into MCJ was like a dream, every year they have more then 8000 applications and only a 100 make through, I was among the top 5, till the end of 8th grade, during the start of 9th, i had a lil accident during a physical drill, ended up on a hospital bed for a minor surgery, which was a total nightmare, caught a infection on my wound, and I had a total of 13 more different surgeries, was grounded and sent home from MCJ, so for the last three years i didnt do much to get things right since then, my grades declined from top to averagish and things like that, I had my last surgery(14th) a month back and hopefully it would be the last one and now Finally i have my mind set to get things right if not completely then may be a little.</p>
