<p>@titan- haha i wish. i don’t know what to think right now. have my first decision in about 23 hours so really excited. all i have as consolation is the fact that last year they accepted someone from kgs who wasn’t offered an interview.

No word from Lafayette yet. I don’t know what they’re trying to do this year- students in China have already received their decision through email.</p>

<p>I hope they sent it via FedEx or something because our normal mail isn’t very reliable. Yesterday, I got a letter from Tufts requesting some financial aid information, and it was postmarked 10th of March. 
I don’t really want to wait another fortnight for my decision.</p>

alibhai: That person from LACAS who says that he has been accepted at Columbia (because I have known him for 13 years, I know that he would not be joking around when he says that) had more of an academic application; literally spotless transcript, SAT I 1900 and SAT II 2350. His extracurriculars weren’t that special, in my opinion. And he had amazing recommendations. One of the recommendations said that this student is among the best we had in the history of LACAS. :)</p>
<p>I am not sure, but I think he had a 2060 in his SAT I and a 2300 in his SAT II.</p>
