it's surly i think
wry: Dryly humorous, often with a touch of irony
surly: unfriendly or hostile; menacingly irritable

really?? niiiiiiceeeee, i hope you're right

i got 28 for the car problem in the math section, not 80, why is it 80?

it sounds more like wry....i put surly too though, but looking at the definitions the uncle wasn't really hostile or menacingly irritated

28?......i put 80 since theres a possibility of 100 green, 80 2 door, and 140 alloy rims, so the greatest is 80, since the 2door is the limiting number.

lol, nvm, i doubt it's surly...it's too strong of a word.

i put 80 b/c doors is the limiting reagent (lol chem)

but on second though maybe it was surly....lol i dont know! i hope it was

Surly: Sullenly ill-humored; gruff.

How about that? I'm really hoping for that answer... hmm :/

that does sound better....didnt he say something like "nil or next to nothing", and he was irritated

for the korean passage, was "pride" (something like that) associated with self-awareness or spreading it to others? it was the 2nd to last question i think on that passage... :/

lol we'll see....the definitions i get in dictionary.com that describe surly seem pretty strong though...words like "hostile, rude, bad-tempered"...

for the car problem

can someone explain to me wth limiting number means?

i'm pretty sure it was self-awareness....and the lsat one i put something about having a deeper sense of self-identity

um i think i remember putting genuinely knowing who you are...something like that?

It is simply the # that runs out first. ie. you would have extra green cars, alloy rims in excess once you use up all the 2-door cars.

ok that's good that it's selfawarness... also i'm happy i chose itinerates :)

ok I cannot understand this unless someone can fully reproduce the problem x_x

Got this off a website: (a real life example)

Think of it as making chocolate-chip cookies. You start with flour, butter, eggs, sugar and chocolate chips. If you starting making a large batch but run out of flour after a dozen cookies, you can't make any more no matter how much of the other ingredients you have.

ok..100 were red, 120 were 4-door, and i think 140 were alloy trim. so a max of 100 cars could be red (200 total- 100 red), but a maximum of 80 could be
2 door (200 total- 120 4door). THat means that since there are only 80 2-door cars, even if there are 100 green, only 80 can be green/two door. alloy trim doesnt matter at this point because there are 140 and we can just assume that all 80 have alloy.

wait, so the wry/ surly question wasn't part of sentence completion

if it was, what was the context?
