I haven't seen the rejection letter myself(my grandmom told me on the phone) , a part of me is still waiting for a miracle. But I think my MIT dreams are gone FOR NOW. But, I will try again.
Have fun at time at any college you end at.

Don't really care to discuss further, this blows big time. MIT was #1 choice and I thought I had a good chance. God I feel insufficient. They accept 14% yeah sure, but the stats don't mean **** when you aren't one of the 14%. If you are then you know you were good enough, and if you aren't, well, you don't know how bad you were. I'm just very depressed, congratulations everybody, and maybe I'll see some people at the UW. Who knows, this might just make me try even harder to succeed extracurricularly at college and might be better than had I gotten in. I feel like working my ass off know just to one up the people who got accepted, while I'm still here. On to that computer program I guess... but now I'm just ranting.

some awards like top Olevel student, valedictorian , subject awards such as chem/geog/hist/math/eng etc but only till Olevel (10th)

ecs: red cross chair, cricket vice capt, indian cultural soc, class chairman, drama....
no research or olympiads.... tt prob killed me :p
