^Omgosh, you got a detention? Wow, were you arms showing or something? lol
No one at my old school ever got detentions for dressing that way.

Lol… I was wearing skinny pants (not jeans) that had studs on them by the pockets (like most pants/jeans do). My school doesn’t allow pants with studs - don’t ask why lol. Pretty much everyone in my school gets away with it.

Apparently, the teacher was the eyes of a hawk and she decided to inspect today. sighs

Wow, I’m assuming that’s the same teacher that was handing them out at your PSAT test lol
Aww, I’m sorry:(

You bet…that was her all right…
No offense, she seriously needs a new hobby lol

At least, I won’t be alone in detention lol (My friend got another violation as well - no surprise there. That seems to be the everyday norm for her lol)

Lol, I’m glad you are not alone. Your school is really strict. People at my old school would wear tight dresses that didn’t even go to their knees with high heels and would get away with it lol
Hopefully you can just do homework or something.

Yeah…it is. Actually, if anyone has it bad and the right to complain about the dress code, it’s really the guys in the my school. Girls don’t have it as bad (no jeans/studs/graphic tees/mini skirts/dresses), but they tend to break the rules the most.

But I’m actually okay with the dress code in my school. It’s modest, but manageable. I certainly don’t want to be the one seeing girls with the bellies popping open and showing wayy too much skin, etc.

You can’t wear jeans? Do you go to a public school? Wow, I’d get a detention everyday lol
Haha, very true, but you can’t wear jeans? That’s all I wear lol

Why is there no Chex Mix at my school?

I ****ING LOVE CHEX MIX

It’s a public school (ironically). And we can’t wear jeans or better yet, anything that “looks like jeans”
Lol, I remember the first time we got the dress code and started thinking how we would be able to survive w/o jeans, since that’s all we were accustomed to wearing in middle school. We found a way around it though…it works out pretty well
(although shopping is a pain in the neck)

Tuesday for me is a no school day ( districts within my state do not have school nor do teachers have to report).

an 89 average right now in honors bio. here we go again.

I have my science fair research paper due Friday and it’s going to end up being 10-20 pages double spaced. I haven’t done any research yet because we were notified about this paper last week and my stuff is coming in this week (resources). I also don’t even know exactly what I’m doing, because I need to find which specie of algae is the most porous, and then I need to find the gene that correlates with this trait, then I need to research GMO and other crap and I only have till Friday and I’m not even sure what I’m writing about. -___-

drop from 4.0 to a 3.57 just because i forgot a to put my name in one of a papers in one of my AP classes… and then the stupid Cal class too :(

i just realized the out of state acceptance rate at UNC is 6% instead of 40%.

what a waste of $70.

^ Sorry to hear about that

I hate class presentations…

This Saturday is the OHSAA state cross country meet, and my lazy parents dont want me to go. They don’t want me to support their team? Last year I couldn’t go and I became angry and depressed, and I’m scared that the same will happen to me. She doesn’t understand how important being in cross country is. She is freaking lazy, like when it was DST I had to reset all the clocks (today) because she was so GD lazy and I didn’t even have to wait for her to ask me, because she would have left them for when DST comes again in April. She doesn’t even care that I even play a freaking sport (or run one in this case.) Tomorrow I am going to tell my coach to call my mom and convice her.

When I go to college (Univ of Texas HOPEFULLY) I am never and I swear to God NEVER coming back home EVER. Do you think I would want to go back home with parents who have such an attitude like that? I am so thankful that I even got to go to Homecoming this year.

I have a 60 something percent in Honors MA right now, and if I don’t get it up to a B this semester any chance I have of getting merit aid anywhere is screwed. And, to do that, I have to get an A on every test for the rest of the semester AND get an A on the final…
Oh, and I have a chem test tomorrow, three mock trial direct/cross examinations to write, (as well as my close) by tomorrow, and I have a crapload of English reading to do, and a two page think piece due tomorrow. AHHHHHH.
This is awful. Junior year is a joke, and not in a good way.

I just got an 89 on my AP Economics Unit exam…darn it.

After working my butt off to cover up all the horrible grades I got in September (we’re not talking CC horrible - I’m talking about actual failing grades…), I have a B+ in English (unweighted) and another in Geometry (also unweighted). Poo.

“I just got an 89 on my AP Economics Unit exam…darn it.”

Non-CCer club FTW!
