M: 800</p>

<h2>W: 780 (76MC, 11E)</h2>

<p>Total: 2270/2400; 1490/1600</p>

<p>Any point in retaking for colleges like Harvard/Princeton/etc.? The norm around CC seems to be that 2300+ seems like a good place to land in in terms of SAT scores, so for those top tiered colleges, would this 2270 be any different? Also, the 1490/1600 is another factor I’m considering (especially that 690 in CR) – should I retake just to raise my CR score?</p>

<p>I’m currently a senior and have the opportunity to take the January sitting. All and any input is greatly appreciated.</p>

<p>A 690 is really off from your other two superb scores. I would definitely take it again since you are aiming for the top schools. </p>
