I was accepted to both schools, something I feel extremely lucky and blessed to have had happened to me. But when I found out about UCLA I literally flipped my s h i t. But for Berkeley I'm not that terribly excited. But I don't think I'm the only one here.

I think it's because of the UCLA Acceptance but somehow my reaction to Berkeley was more subdued than I thought it would be. It also may be because now my decision isn't as clear cut as I thought it would be.

But this seems like it works for rejections too. For people who applied to both LA and Cal, whether you were accepted to both or rejected to both, are you not as surprised/disappointed/elated from Berkeley's decisions?

In any case I'm still incredibly happy and proud of everyone!!! Best of luck :)

Oh dude… see that’s totally different (for me at least). If I get into Stanford I’m 97% sure that I’m going to cry and defecate at the same time. Something I’m sure everyone here wanted to know. LoL

I haven’t checked my Berkeley status yet, but I’m definitely considering UCLA - I have been since just before the decisions came out for UCLA, actually. And it’s becoming an increasingly tough one. But I suppose I should check Berkeley now.

I got into both schools for fall, but I was way more excited about hearing from UCLA. But the more I learned about both of them, I wanted to go to Berkeley. Now, I’m at a loss and pretty sure Berkeley is too expensive for me.

That’s my problem too, I’m havin a tough time choosing, but definitely leaning towards UCLA just because Downtown Berkeley bugs the crap out of me.

this is so blown out of proportion. all of this. it’s cool you guys got in, but the ‘omgz loike imz gonna die if berky turns me down’ attitude is ridiculous. scoffing that the ucla decision is somewhat inferior or something. chances are that most of you didn’t have the chance get into a school like ucla or ucb out of high school, so you should be content with that and not belitle or build down ucla acceptance. just saying. that said, party on.
