<p>I am actually quite surprised that I got accepted, considering my SAT scores and my ECs aren’t that great. But I am very happy, this is one of my top choices. </p>
<p>Also, something that might have helped was when I visited UM in February, I got the email address of the admissions person that was zoned for Orlando, and I emailed him introducing myself, and updating him on my senior year. He was very nice and replied back the very next day. It is always good to keep in contact and let them know that you are interested by updating them about what is currently going on in your senior year. </p>

I saw the acceptance letter online when I logged into MyUM and also received the packet on the same date. They will give you a scholarship certificate in the folder you will receive in the mailed packet.</p>
