<p>My friend's Mom told me I was lucky to get waitlisted, because her boss' daughter, with better stats than me, got rejected. She had supposedly impeccable credentials (NM semiF, almost perfect SAT's, top 1% of class, etc). They even hired a professional "College Advisor" to help her through the horrible selecting colleges/ application process, to be sure she did everyhting right. But she also applied to Harvard and Princeton and schools like that, so did WUSTL speculate that they were probably not her top choice? Possible. Or maybe she made some mistakes, or was lacking in EC's or something, I have no first-hand knowledge. Except that she was a top student, better than me, and got rejected. It's crazy.</p>
