more stories? =)

I have! I was one of only a couple sophomores in my AP Chem class of mostly juniors and seniors two years ago, and it was easily one of my favorite classes. The upperclassmen were awesome and didnât treat us differently just because we were younger; in fact, I think a lot of them didnât even realize.

Itâs not awkward at all. Getting to know someone is the same regardless of what grade they happen to be in. As long as youâre approachable and have an open mind, I think you should be fine :)

I was in a biology class as a freshman with a bunch of sophomores and a junior and I was seriously the smartest one in there. They were all really nice to me and they all wanted to be my partners for stuff so I guess it turned out okay.

I was the only freshman in my Bio II class, and it was horrible. The kids in there were idiots, and the teacher was a racist, intolerant woman who kept pushing her Christian beliefs on me.

Ended up reporting her and getting her fired.

haha lots of good and bad stories Iâm hearing :P

Hopefully itâll go well for me!

Moreeeee anyone? :D

Oh, I have a little thing.

You know how upperclassmen like to tell younger people how lucky the younger people are with their easy classes and such? Well, I would be IN their classes and they would tell me that. You know. Because they are in more advanced classes than I am. Iâm definitely not in their class while theyâre saying that.

(Not being sarcastic AT ALL.)

I was the only freshman in my marketing class. Everyone else were juniors and seniors, aside from two sophomores. I loved it. I made so many new friends and theyâve always helped me with things that theyâve already experienced. It was an amazing class- and I always won Never Have I Ever because I could always just be like ânever have I ever had a driverâs license.â

@Secoja- LOLLLL omg thatâs so funny! :P

@Amber- hahaha that sounds awesome! :)

More storieesss :D

Bump⊠:)

Iâve actually had the inverse happen to me: I was the only UPPERCLASSMAN in courses filled with underclassmen. At first, it was awkward, but eventually I got to know them really well! No wonder why my senior prom date this year was a junior hahaha

I was the only sophomore in AP Bio and one of two in AP Stats.
I was the only freshman in Personal Finance last year.
I actually thought it was pretty fun! I got to meet a lot of really cool people. I just talked to whomever I sat by and seemed friendly⊠was a good strategy. I would not say I was the smartest one in there or anything. I did well comparatively, but it was just a good experience. Donât go in there intimidated or super arrogant, for neither is a great attitude to have.

Same. Like exact same for me

Hey!

I was the only sophomore last year in AP Psychology. It was fine. I sat in the front row by the board and I got to know the junior sitting next to me really well. She graduated this year and weâre still friends. My teacher was awesome too. Really recommend that class.

I was the only sophomore in a class full of seniors (AP Biology). I made quite a few senior friends and had an overall great experience.

Use it as an opportunity to meet new people. The age barrier shouldnât be an issue as long as you stay humble and amiable.

Nicee!! Thatâs good to know haha Thanks
