Are you guys going to hand-write your optional update forms?

I'd rather not hand-write mine, and I was thinking about scanning it and inserted the text with Photoshop or something.

Thoughts?

I'd rather not hand-write mine, and I was thinking about scanning it and inserted the text with Photoshop or something.

Thoughts?

I want to type mine, but I'm still working out just how to do it...

good luck guys...hope to see you on the Farm next year.

i tried scanning it but for some reason the colors aren't matching. im just going to measure reallllllllllllly accurately, and print onto the form =).

I talked to a current Stanford freshman who got in after being deferred, and she said that she just attached extra sheets for her questions. My guess would be, if you can fit it in the space, then try to do it, but use extra space if you feel it's necessary.

thats very useful to know actually...ive been trying to pare down my entires. would you suggest simply putting "See Attached" in each blank, or instead having the text and a blurb "(Continued on attached page)"?

hmm...well i'm doing "See Attached," but that's just because I'm too lazy to go through with all the formatting and the hassle of dealing with those freakin tiny spaces =P

aiite, thanks :)

I handwrote mine, but I have nice small handwriting. I even used a ruler to make lines to write on so it would be extra neat. Now I just hope they look at it and think, "This looks nice" and not "She needs a life." :)

I'm gonna handwrite mine, I think, just 'cause...I love my handwriting. I'll need to clean it up a bit for legibility's sake, but I actually made an effort to turn my handwriting into what it is, so now it really fits my personality perfectly.

(yes, I have no life)

I have to type. There's no way I can handwrite it, my writing is terrible.

I just printed out a couple of test pages with the responses already done, held them up to the form, and adjusted accordingly.

That's what I just did gmf05, it worked for me. I scanned it on first and typed the text over it and then deleted the picture. It turned out to be pretty good.

Do you by any chance still have the scanned image of the blank form?

I'm having trouble scanning it and having the dimensions right and such. If you could please send it to cdb3@softhome.net I would reeeeally appreciate it.

I'm sorry, but I don't have it saved anymore. I had just scanned it onto word itself and saved the document, but when I got rid of the picture and saved again the picture was gone for good because the picture itself wasn't saved. I'd scan it again for you if I hadn't printed my responses onto it already. Sorry again. Perhaps someone else has it?

I handwrote mine
