the overwhelming world of standardized testing!

Yessssss. Well, to the overwhelming question.

I took the SATs in April and June, did reasonably well in April (not by standards on these boards, though), and I felt much more confident with the June test, but not sure how that's going to play out yet.

Didn't so much as look at an ACT book until yesterday when I decided it would be a good idea to at least know what the test looked like lol, and did well on the practice test not completely giving it my full attention so I went in this morning feeling like I had the chance to do REALLY well on it (planning to take it again in the fall, this was kind of just for "fun"). I had finished the writing and math like 20-30 mins early on the practice and was comfortably able to finish the other ones... but I got to the test today and I don't know what happened, but starting feeling the same way. I wasn't able to finish the math (even with everyone saying it was SO easy).

I'm kind of disapointing, not expecting to do that well unfortunately, but it's really not the end of the world. There's always the fall and your future is certainly not rotting away if you don't get a certain score. It maaay have an impact on colleges but in a few years from now, it's not going to matter what you got on these silly tests.
