The path of least resistance?

I recently finished my freshman year at University of Colorado at Boulder as an out of state student with a 3.0. Unfortunately it has become clear I will not be able to afford the $50,000/yr price tag and I have retreated back to California for the time being.

My options (+ tid-bits) for the future are as follows:

Humboldt State, Arcata CA - On the waiting list.

Orange Coast College, CA - How will having gone to a four year institute instead of two years at a CC affect future transfers to CA four year universities?

Gain in state tuition at CU Boulder - One year domicile. Financially independent.

Florida Community College - Parents are moving to Florida this summer.

It would be appreciated if any road bumps to any of the options could be pointed out.

Regarding your option 3, did you check this? [Office of the Registrar - University of Colorado, Boulder](http://registrar.colorado.edu/students/tuition_classification_regulations.html)

Which category would you be? Financially independent is not emancipated.

If you can find a way to gain in-state tuition at UC-Boulder, that’s the best option. However, state colleges are making it harder to do that so make sure you really have a plan to gain in-state residency.
