"I’m a little nervous that her fate rests partially in my hands! /O\ "

AGREED!!
I’m trying to write one right now and it’s impossible! i know so much about my person and I just don’t know what to put! especialyl for reservations for applying… i mean, do they want us to come up with something for this? grr. i want to do a good job, but I’m more nervous for screwing this up than I was about any of my 9 applications!

I think that would be nice touch it you can do it. If you know some other kids who are already at Dartmouth, showing how your friend has similar positive attributes would be good. But don’t sweat it if you have no knowledge of Dartmouth or other Dartmouth students; just concentrate on your friend.

I wrote two; one for a friend who wound up not applying due to familial pressure, so that was sort of a bummer, and one for a guy who i’ve known since elementary school.

I love the peer recommendation as a facet of the application; my friend wrote a beautiful letter for me which touched on some sensitive stuff i couldn’t mention in my application.
