<p>Can everyone post where they are from if they already got letters? I live in California, and I'm getting antsy.</p>
<p>my friend who lives in bergen county (riveredge), which is right across from nyc, got his acceptance letter</p>

<p>How did people already receive their letters? The Board Administrator on the bulletin board on the NYU application website is insistent that no one is informed earlier than December 15th. The reply to poster's question about why some people he/she knew already received their letters was "The information you have provided is simply not true."</p>

<p>I doubt it has to do with what state you live in. My daughter has several friends who heard this past Sat. (all acceptances). Two live in NY, one in PA , and one in VT. She knows of friends who have not heard at all and they live in NJ, FL, and VT. So, I do not think your state has anything to do with this.</p>

<p>i live in NYC, got my acceptance letter on friday, the 10th. a friend in seattle got her's the next day. maybe we got our's early cuz we both applied to Tisch? Dunno. i wish you all luck! and just remember to breathe, impossible as that is....</p>
<p>The order in which these letters are sent really are random. Three people, including myself, at the same school applied to NYU ED. The other two applied to Tisch, and I applied to Gallatin. I got my letter and another person got his letter today, but the third person didn't get hers yet.</p>
