I took two SSAT this year.
First time at October, I got 90% math, 99% reading and 99% overall.
Took another SSAT at December, 98% math, 92% reading, 96% overall.
I sent both scores to BS.
Wondering how BS read the scores?
Just the overall % or compare with other applicants who take SSAT at the same month?

Last year, my friend got 96% overall but did not get in Lawrenceville and Peddie.

sorry i have no idea how to answer your question and i probably wouldnt have posted if i didnt see your username, but i had to say i really like it! =)

The fact that your friend got a 96% overall and was still rejected from Lawrenceville underscores what many people on this board have said many times. You should be proud of your score. But your scores will not gain you admission into any school, it will only keep you in the game. You have to demonstrate other attributes that makes a school feel that you will be a contributing member of their community.

Just because your friend got a 96% on the SSAT does not gain admission to any school. a key element could have been missing and the SSAT score has the least weight. It is mainly given as a filter to make sure you are able to function at the school if you got in.

march10 ssat scores are but a small part of gaining admission to BS. Like colleges, BS’s are building a community of many talents. The last they want are a campus full of high scoring ssat students.

I am going for Peddie but got only 39% on SSAT ( I am international student). Does it affect my application a lot ? My profile is really balanced and decent.

I think if you are a strong applicant they will let is slide. They look at everything and wont say no because of a bad test score. Im sure they if your profil is decent and balanced they will really pay a lot of attntion. What schools did u do>?
