College admissions: “Hmm, let’s see here. This guy is good a filling in bubbles, while this guy didn’t do as well yet surpasses the first guy in talent and leadership ability. Because after all, you can be good at standardized tests but that won’t make you successful in life.” What awards have you won? Who have you beat in a contest of wits and charisma? Sorry, but ACT isn’t life. I wouldn’t kill for your score; I’d be very happy with a 30 and the abilities and accomplishments I have right now. There’s more to life that matters than your skill on a test. There’s skill to life. Do you have it?</p>

Like I said before, just because you have a few pitiful/generic leaderships and awards that almost everyone has several of (I mean first place in Regionals, seriously?) isn’t going to make up a 7 point difference in ACT. I can almost guarantee that any competent college would accept me over you any hour of the day, any day of the week, even considering I’m a Junior while you’re a Senior. Btw, you also made the flawed assumption that because I have a high ACT score, I don’t have any leadership positions, so you fail even further.
