The Pessimistic Failures Club

<p>

Sorry, I don’t understand your logic here. What does a 27 have to do with intelligence on a test where preparation can raise your score several points?

Lack of a life? You’ve been on CC all day, buddy. You’ve even bothered to dig through an old post of mine, research logical fallacies, and managed to average at least 7 posts per day since you joined CC.

<a href=“http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/harvard-university/52230-correlation-between-iq-sat-scores.html[/url]”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/harvard-university/52230-correlation-between-iq-sat-scores.html&lt;/a&gt;

<em>Waves my Lion’s Club Regional 1st Place award in one hand and my debate State Qualifier trophy in the other hand in front of ACTTester’s snapping, drooling jaws</em> You want it, bud? Gooo fetch! :)</p>

<p>

You don’t have to be known to recognize an idiot when you see one. If you really want, maybe we can ask him for his ACT score to see how credible he is or whether he has insult rights? hahaha</p>

<p>

You mean a test where preparation will improve most people’s score. I seriously doubt the score of an idiot like you will improve much.

And you haven’t been on CC all day? Hypocritical post is hypocritical. And yeah, I average 7 posts per day on CC because I posted like 200 times in the discussion threads on the day of the ACT. You spend more time than me on CC but all you do is lurk like the snake you are.

Lol, you’re linking me to a 3 page thread discussed by high schoolers without even degrees to prove that there isn’t any correlation between IQ and SAT scores? This is why I say your IQ is at the level of a rock. :slight_smile:

LOL! He QUALIFIED FOR STATE! Let’s all bow in front of him! In all seriousness, a few generic awards aren’t going to make up for your pathetic ACT score, however much you kid yourself into thinking so. I really don’t give a sh1t about either of those awards; while you would kill for my ACT score.

Nah, I think there were several people on this thread who recognized you as an idiot a while back.</p>

<p>Damn ACTTester, you’re pretty damn annoying. Stop being upset over your terrible 34 and be quiet. And just because someone got a 27, it doesn’t make them any stupider than anyone else.</p>

<p>Oh btw I got a 35 on my first try, when my goal was a 27. Hope that makes you feel better, ACTTester</p>

<p>

Wow, you got a 35; your life goal is now officially fullfilled! (/sarcasm) This “argument” would never had started if these idiots hadn’t ripped at me for not being satisfied with a 34. Don’t talk without knowing the whole story next time, kiddo.</p>

<p>

Uh-huh.

Repetitive kid is repetitive… ROFL!! :smiley:
If the ACT had an analogy section, you’d ace it for sure.

Actually, I joined awhile ago, and posted one or two things. Now I keep this page in my browser and refresh every once in awhile to entertain myself with your childish posts. By the way, how do you manage to promptly reply to all my posts within minutes?

You’re the one who claims that there is a correlation. You have the burden of proof. This is why I say your IQ is at the level of an asparagus. :slight_smile:

College admissions: “Hmm, let’s see here. This guy is good a filling in bubbles, while this guy didn’t do as well yet surpasses the first guy in talent and leadership ability. Because after all, you can be good at standardized tests but that won’t make you successful in life.” What awards have you won? Who have you beat in a contest of wits and charisma? Sorry, but ACT isn’t life. I wouldn’t kill for your score; I’d be very happy with a 30 and the abilities and accomplishments I have right now. There’s more to life that matters than your skill on a test. There’s skill to life. Do you have it?</p>

<p>As you would say, unimpressive conceit is unimpressive. :P</p>

<p>I got a 35 :frowning:
(34 Math 34 English 35 Reading 35 Science 3/12 writing)</p>

<p>Ugh I’m so disappointed… a whole summer of practice for such a travesty.</p>

<p>Acttester, I feel for you man. Just because some peoples standards higher than others doesn’t mean they can rip on you for being annoying.</p>

<p>Just leave us alone, it’s a thread to complain.</p>

<p>For me anyways, I was hoping for a 38 but got a 37, and that was my 2nd try :(</p>

<p>

Annoying, bitter kid is annoying and bitter… ROFLMAO!! :smiley:

Hahaha, this is the best one yet! My posts are childish? Have you looked in a mirror lately?

I really don’t need to waste my time proving something so obvious to a person who couldn’t even get a 30 on the ACT. Your level of IQ just went down to that of a cracked, eroded rock. :slight_smile:

Ahahaha, “didn’t do as well as” is a nice way to put it, isn’t it? More like did 7 points worse. And you have absolutely no clue about college admissions do you? Like I said before, just because you have a few pitiful/generic leaderships and awards that almost everyone has several of (I mean first place in Regionals, seriously?) isn’t going to make up a 7 point difference in ACT. I can almost guarantee that any competent college would accept me over you any hour of the day, any day of the week, even considering I’m a Junior while you’re a Senior. :slight_smile: Btw, you also made the flawed assumption that because I have a high ACT score, I don’t have any leadership positions, so you fail even further.

More like your unimpressive awards are unimpressive. Next thing I know, you’ll be listing some of your infamous school awards as achievements like “Most Snobbish”. Lol, I’m still laughing at the “State Qualifier” and “1st in Regional” things and how you seriously think those are impressive, hahaha. :P</p>

<p>Wow, is this thread seriously still going?</p>

<p>Please let this thread die. Do not post in here anymore.</p>

<p>hahahhahahah you guys are funny
in the end i dont think much of this even matters
when we’re older we’ll laugh</p>
