The "Poof"

Anyone know how to get the perfect poof? ...You know the hump, bumpish thing on your head that a lot of celebrities wear. I tease the top and lift and just put bobby pins in it. Thats not working at all. Can any proffessional poofers give me advice?

What the hell????

ummm...weird...

^^^^^^ what he said

Haha, I know what you're talking about...the fauxhawk thing that Gwen Stefani does sometimes...I've never tried it myself (it would probably look cool though) but here's a link that might be helpful.

um

you've come to cc to ask hairstyling advice

uh, not gonna lie, i think that looks like crap.

Gosh this thread is high school life!

lol dont, its one of those things that girls think looks good and guys hate

lol so what hairstyles do y'all like
sidebang?
waves?...I bet waves..guys can't resist.

I quiver just thinking about it......

lol i wasn't saying anything about the actual hairstyle

i was just commenting that this is cc

think of the demographics

o lol I see what you mean

Of those 4 pictured in the earlier link, I'd go with the "Tousled Side-Sweep".

Hm, I want other guys to comment on this - can hair actually be "sexy", as the title of that website states?

hell yeah, but waves looks horrible on most girls, i was going to give that as another example lol

points above

like i said, demographics...

lol ouch cindy, lets pretend you wouldnt follow my advice religiously...

lol hahahah... sorry arun, i couldn't resist :) i love you!!!

How bout this:

Kinda like a faux-hawk, but a whole lot more feminine, we're crazy about this half-updo. To do, take the hair on the crown of your head and pull it up and out of the way. Then make a side part in the front section and pull those tresses straight back, pinning them down to the rest of your hair. Take out that crown section you've been holding onto, and gently tease the hair at the roots to add more volume and give you some height at the crown. Voila! A style that works equally well on curly or straight locks.
