Okay, So lately i've really gotten into the whole prep/ivy fashion style. I have one issue though, I can't find blogs or websites that cater to females who are into this fashion style. Do any of you know any? I already know where to shop, I've gone through a ton of the male prep/ivy style websites/blogs. I just need help finding one for females :)
If you know any I would be extremely thankful!

Oh, and how many of you are into this style? My friends think i'm a little strange for liking it. lolz.

Really? I see it as a slightly fun style.
I know that the polo is a must, i have a few of those. I wear cardigans, oxford shirts, bermuda shorts, and that’s as far as my preppy look goes.

I don’t know of any good preppy blogs, but I’m a girl who dresses in the “Ivy” style usually. This means I have a lot of cute capris, dress pants, pencil skirts, fancy tank tops and cardigans. I have a collection of ballet flats and a couple of Sperrys. It doesn’t hurt that I play golf too so I have quite a few polo’s and classy shorts.

H&M had a great preppy collection about a month ago, but I’m not sure if that’s still going on. Otherwise, I go to Banana Republic of JCrew (the outlets at least- I don’t have much money) and stores like Marshalls to pick up staples. Good luck!

I constantly get asked if I’ve left my yacht in the parking lot, so I’d say I’m somewhat of an expert on this topic (finally, something on CC I can constructively contribute to!).

First off, I’m assuming you’re a girl. Ok. Easy, despite my being a guy.

The stores you’d definitely need to try are as follows: Ralph Lauren (the classic), Vineyard Vines (the up-and-comer), Madewell/J.Crew, Lilly Pulitzer (if only for those glorious sundresses, which are God’s gifts to men), and Sebago for boaties and such (I’m beginning to see Sperry overkill, and Sebago has legit sailing cred).

I occasionally peruse their offerings. Then I think about how unbelievable it is that I’m still allowed to remain a card-carrying man. Then I look some more. (:

Seriously, y’all should just hit me up whenever. I hate to say it (I play a somewhat-manly sport and I’m normally pretty into being a dude), but helping people shop is probably one of my favorite pastimes.

That’s pretty much what I do with all online stores! I’ll have to wait until I get a job (which will take getting a driver’s license, first) before I can buy frivolities.

Thanks Penguin369.
Your post just made me realize that I never bought a ton of nice capris. It’s getting a bit cold for them now, so i’ll get them in the spring. I’ll check out the stores you listed :)

wizkhalifa, thanks as well! Your blog/tumblr is the exact thing I was looking for! All of these prep/Ivy style blogs never show pictures of ladies, it frustrates me to no end. So thanks for that! Keep posting, I would follow, but I don’t have a tumblr. So I just added it to my favorite’s list.

Clepsydra, i’ve been looking at Lilly Pulitzer’s stuff as well, and I loved everything on that site as well :)
