Earlier this year I made the mistake of signing up for Honors/IB physics (I'm a junior) and the year has been awful for me. I've always been a straight A student (with a few A minuses) but I find that I don't have the brain for physics. Granted our teacher isn't great (all he does is flip through ppt slides and hand out homework) but I've done consistently mediocre on my tests (Bs and high Cs, with the occasional A). I've tried very hard to study but my strategies don't seem to work (I guess I just don't know how to), and then there's always that math wiz kid that ruins the curve.

The year's almost over and I've managed to scrape by with an A- last semester and have B--B+ in the class right now. Due to the rigor of the class, my teacher told me to take the AP-B test anyway and I signed up. He thinks I could a four but I'm not so sure.I suppose it is a self-esteem issue as well as a grade issue. I just feel very incompetent and helpless. I've never had this problem before. I feel incredibly unprepared. There's less than a month before the test and I was wondering if anyone has any brilliant tips that might help me obtain a good score (4-5) on the test. I'm an English person who took physics on a whim and as preparation for premed in the future.
