I saw that minimum score for Verbal is 620-640. But I saw some folks who didn't get this score and got in.(There are some in official stats in this forum, too.) How is this possible? One got 570/800/630, and the other got 600/7x0/6x0..and so on..
Also, according to collegeboard, middle range of verbal score for Mcgill is 620-720. This means there are many people 'below' 620. Can anyone explain this?

I didn't make the ACT Science Reasoning Cutoff, but I did score much higher than the posted minimums in Math and English -- and I was admitted.

Supposedly, from a previous member, her/his friend scored just below the minimum score for one of the SATIIs by 10pts and was rejected. Who knows?

Thanks! Quick response!

I'd say to never look at minimums as though they are concrete walls. If a school wants you, they'll take you. You do need to offer something appealing though...
