my HS football team lost the homecoming game in overtime last night.

israel

10

true story: the other day i got an application in the mail from a college called the "California University of Pennsylvania." it was the funniest thing ever.

i don't get it....

I get mail from them all the time, what's the big deal?

i don't understand the name of the college. why would they put two different states that are thousands of miles apart in one name.

It has no connection to california. It's because of the section of Pennsylvania it's in (it's called the borough of california)

oh lol i get it now.

still its like 'hey come to cup and well serve you right"

Meeeeeeee-chigan

actually they don't call themselves cup. It's Cal U.

well they should because itd be funny...come enjoy a cup full of excitement! yarrrr!#H@)#@_+$546

wow, everyone on this board just exudes stress, me included!

Ok, so, my calculus class collectively failed our calc test. Ok, the class average was a D, but still, I HATE CALC!!!!!!!!!

I'm trying to finish up these damned essays so I can send the app in a few days before the deadline.

I'm not practicing piano much lately, and I"m recording a CD for Penn next Saturday, for a few hundred bucks, might I add.

And..............Boys suck! .............a lot

Oh Helix. My friend would understand about the piano. She plays guitar and has lessons every sataurday. However, because of college visits, she hasn't had a lesson in 2 months. Today is her first lesson.

Ugh I'm freaking out because my first quarter senior grades are turning out to be pretty crappy. I spent so much time writing my Penn essays in the last two months, I've been slacking in some classes. Now I have to put in three times the average workload in the next two weeks to get my grades up...

i'm in the same situation :( ,but maybe our work will pay off.

i know. this is my first year in a high school and the workload is unbelievable. plus, i lost my lit summer work, and i've only now just caught up! My grades are a disaster (yay ED), i've pulled a miraculous "A" in lit (88 or so, but rising fast - was a 75 fifteen school days ago), A in US his, A in Gov't (took the optional final to bump may grade from a 89.3 A to a 92 A - i wanted a REAL A), "A" in phys (89.3), and a B in Bio (80.2!!!!!). it's nuts. But, i get relative calm in, what, 9 days? if i survive that long

helix: girls have their moments too ;)

I know, but guys are just a mystery. boys = black holes. I'm definitely generalizing, but this seems to be true with all of the guys I've known.

I'm so stressed right now, that the last thing I need are "boy troubles". Scary stuff, that is.

26e, your grading scale is just unbelievable. I'm sooooooooooo jealous. At our school, an 84 is a C! A 92 is a B! It is really screwing with my grades right now. It's so frustrating: Why must we have such an absurd grade scale?

Our teachers refuse to bump our grades .01 points.....grrrrrr.

Another random complaint: I had an ey exam today, and I have to wear glases when I drive:(

They're really awsome designer glasses, but still.......

Helix: my vision is so bad I don't qualify to drive at night. Trust me, glasses aren't so bad
