The ranking d' IB & Consulting firms.

I know that UPenn Wharton is the most heavily recruited college by Investment banks & Consulting firms.

Then, my question is that is a UPenn CAS student majoring in Economics have pretty much same recruited by IB & Consulting firms?

I heard that due to the reputation of Wharton, UPenn CAS is like the 2nd heavily recruited schools in the country by IBs, even

better than HYPS... Or Can anyone tell me what is the most heavily recruited school besides Wharton?

HYPMS. Also, maybe even Duke, Columbia and Uchicago may come close. I really don't think that Wharton is the most heavily recruited school for Consulting. My money would go to Harvard or MIT for the most amount of graduates going into consulting. I know from a friend who goes to school there that McKinsey is a fiend for Harvard and MIT graduates and many other consulting firms do the same. If you got into Harvard, Yale, Princeton, MIT, or Stanford than I would definitely choose one of these school's over Penn's CAS and also If you got into Columbia, Duke, UChicago or Northwestern and Dartmouth I would give them a good consideration too because if you go to CAS your looked as 2nd string compared to the Wharton students and most likely during recruiting season you will probably get their sloppy seconds.

I heard GS and McKinsey both accept the most Wharton graduates every year, more than any other school.

For investment banking, I'm not sure.

But for consulting, HYPS are more heavily recruited than Wharton (and definately more than CAS).

So is Mckinsey the only consulting firm that hires more Wharton undergrads than HYPS?
