<p>Are there varying differences between the 1st edition and 3rd edition of The Red Book? I mean, I read some reviews saying that they are both the same while others critique (on Amazon), "The ACT Math and Science sections have gotten substantially harder to finish in time since June 2011, and this book is the ACT's tacit admission that they are indeed making those two sections more difficult to finish from a timing standpoint."</p>
<p>The three tests in the 1st edition of the Red Book are repeated in the 3rd edition, the only difference is that the 3rd edition has two additional tests. The two additional tests were actual ACT tests from ACT April 2009 Test: Form 66F and ACT December 2008 Test: Form 67A.</p>
