What motivates people all across college forums to post The Red Book as number one ACT prep book? Is it the strategies, or the real tests?

The tests in the red book are written by the same people who write the ACT itself, so you get the most realistic experience.

I was thinking if I should take third-party practice tests first to get the “hang” of it, then take the Red ones.

Third-party tests usually do not follow the guidelines set by the ACT testmakers, therefore, making those tests invalid or “fake.”

Use real ACT tests
