Looks like USC programmed its computer systems to auto-admit all 1400+SAT people and reject 80% 1300ers automatically again. Every person on the previous page of the thread who got rejected has an SAT in the 1300s!
I have 1500 so prolly that's the ONLY reason i got in!

Hi, I've been reading all of your comments, stats etc. I called in twice now, to usc, asking why they're taking so long, and apparently they sent out a bunch on March 23rd, and March 30th, (I called in on March 31st)

Here are my stats.

SAT I: 1530 (790m, 740v)

GPA: 3.4w, 3.1uw

massive EC
tons of clubs, scouts, volunteering, community service
Not too sure about essays/paragraphs, but I did spend around 3-4 days on them.

I have 5 friends who got accepted into Marshall with SAT I range that is quite large, 1290-1490, all got accepted to usc.

I think that shows that they don't base decisions on SAT scores (alone).

i want to believe in bruno though :(*

i applied to a total of 10 american universities...
7 of the UC's (university of California)
........
I wasn't eligible for ALL 7...
and now im waiting for my last 3 and since USC is taking so LONG to notify me i'm getting so scared just waiting :(

Lumillusion: same i applied to 6 UC schools, and like 2 of them said i wasn eligible enough, i think they were Riverside (lol i know) and Davis ( i think)
o well i got into Irvine somehow..still my dream school is USC
are you from out of state?

im from vancouver.. and yeah waiting for usc is like such a pain... i mean its BEEN a pain knowing that all my other friends got accepted like 2 weeks ago

I was accepted on the 23rd or so , I forget the date, but my good friend received his rejection letter yesterday, he had a 1410 and very strong e.c.'s.......

Sounds like every April 1st letter was a rejection notice, does this strike anyone as unusual?!

thats very very scary for me to hear because usc is like one of my last choices... i've been rejected from everythin else i mean, i wasn't 'eligible' for all my UC's
