Got rejected at UVA & Georgetown. 3.7 GPA and 1990 SAT, thought I would at least get waitlisted at 1 or both… At least 1 other student from my school with lower SAT scores got into both schools.

Cornell <3 <3

CMU.
I’m not too sad about it. Tomorrow’s the big day!

Harvard, Yale, and Princeton.

Just thought I’d preempt the rush of posters that will inevitably be here tomorrow evening.

Macaulay Honors College at Hunter :(

It was my first choice… anyway, it might not be a good fit for me since I want to have traditional campus and real college experience -_- :)

Oy. Hunter is a real college, you know. And NYC > traditional campus.

Just saying.

lol aww jellyya i feel ya. well sorta after being rejected from CMU. I didn’t apply to Mac. Hunter, i knew I’d be rejected so I opted for Mac. City.

Oy. Hunter is a real college, you know. And NYC > traditional campus.

I know you wanna defend your college but that’s what I think (and I believe and so whatever…) and NYC isn’t always “>” traditional campus…

desichick
you mean MHC CCNY? great choice applying there. Even now I feel really regret not applying to CCNY (at the present, I would prefer CCNY a million times over Hunter LOL…). I have great chance getting rejected from both anywayz --

^So you think Hunter is not a real college??

I believe what she means is that Hunter does not provide the traditional college experience - and this is true. Some like that, and some don’t. Its simply a matter of preference - and she would prefer to have a traditional experience.

Waitlisted: Georgetown

Check back at 5:01 tomorrow and I’ll have loads more to add :P

hope i’ll be lucky with the rest of the schools whose decisions haven’t come out yet

Waitlisted: Northwestern, Wellesley

Rejected: Amherst

Hopefully I won’t have to return to this thread later tomorrow (but that’s just wishful thinking…)

Thank you so much for that explanation, lonesplendor.

I said “real college EXPERIENCE” not “real college.” If Hunter is not REAL COLLEGE, I wouldn’t apply there at first place -_-
