I applied two years ago, but I know the reason for the SRAR is so that Rutgers gets your transcript on their systems faster. Real paper transcripts need to go through people (guidance office, admissions office, etc.) and people are far slower than computers. This allows Rutgers to get back to you sooner regarding admission and then double-check your transcript vs. SRAR at their own pace.

I do believe it is the 4-digit PIN you would have entered before.

I thought that for undergraduate freshman admissions you only had to give them the Self reported scores and not an official transcript from your high school. Is this true or do I need to send in both?

“All enrolling students will be required to request that their high schools submit an official transcript with all courses and final grades.”

Since you submitted the SRAR, you are fine, but you will be required to send an official transcript if/when you decide to enroll. Might as well send it now?

@RiedyZAc000- I don’t know about your school, but in my school, after a transcript is requested, the guidance department keeps sending out updated versions of it to all colleges you’re applying to. I think what koto is saying is that Rutgers will require you to send the official transcript anyway if you are accepted and decide to enroll. It wouldn’t hurt to send/request the transcript now and get it out of the way. The guidance department will take care of making sure that they receive your final transcript. That’s what I did anyway.
