Hi I applied an ED to a college and they told me the result will be out by 12/1. I didn’t even get those ad brochures. I wonder I am likely to get rejected by now. One scenario I can think of is they have a hard time making decision because my test scores are way better than my gpa’s. I mean I didn’t get 100% on SAT but there is a big gap between gpa and test score. The truth is I, a public school kid, pretty much failed to get along (socially and academically) with the private high school. The SAT questions are easier than my schoolwork. So…
Do you have a question? Being informed as to when decisions will be made is not an indicator of acceptance or rejection – just a statement of fact.
I feel like instead of trusting my gut that I will get in I should start submitting RD apps to other schools that are due 11/30 and 12/1.
You should get other applications in by the due date (or as early as possible for rolling admissions schools). If the due other application due dates are after you will hear back from your ED school then I’d suggest you prepare the applications and wait until you hear from your ED school before submitting them.
