<p>Yale</a> Weighs ROTC Decision as Ivy League Schools Restore Programs - Bloomberg</p>
<p>Old-ish news. I first heard about it before the summer started when the harvard home page announced the reinstatement of its ROTC program. </p>
<p>I'm active in NJROTC and am considering a military career, but I'm not the stereotypical military type - for example, I'm more of a progressive type. </p>
<p>Might showing intention to join ROTC, say, when I apply near the end of 2012, help my admissions chances to Ivy League schools with low ROTC numbers?</p>
<p>(Not to mention greatly off-set my tuition)</p>
