The right "fit"

Top colleges often say they are looking for students who are the right fit for their school. Do the type of students ivies are looking for actually vary from school to school, or is the right "fit" the same?

Each of the Ivies is different, so yes, they are not necessarily looking for the same students. There is a huge difference between the type of students that go to Brown and Cornell, for example.

People who apply to every Ivy probably don’t “fit” them all, at least not in the same way. That said, if you do your research you can fashion your applications so you “fit” each school, but the schools are so varied there isn’t much of a point in applying to all of them.
