So I'm an incoming senior and have been adding and erasing names off of my college list for two years now. I've heard that its best to choose a few reach schools, a few schools that I have a pretty good chance of getting accepted into, and a few safe schools. So here is my list (from most challenging to least, from what research I've done):
Princeton, Colgate, Bucknell, Boston College, Lehigh, Villanova, Lafayette, George Washington, Gettysburg, Dickinson, Fordham, American, TCNJ, Rowan

Personal Info:
SAT: 2100 630CR, 710M, 760W
GPA (unweighted): 3.83/4
Class Rank: 9/135
AP Courses Taken/Planning to Take: Chem, Physics, US History, European History, Spanish IV, Psychology, Calculus
Awards: National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, Music Honor Society (VP), Presidential Academic Award, Spanish III Award
Extracurricular: Softball (Varsity all 4 years), Traveling Softball Team, (4 yrs) School Musical (4 yrs), Choir (4 yrs), Student Mentoring, Spirit Ambassador, Interact Club (Treasurer), Science Fair
Community Service: So much considering I'm required to do at least 20 hrs every year by my school

What are my chances of getting into these schools?! Any schools I missed? Any schools I should completely cross off?!
Please help! Thanks for any advice you can give me!

Consider retaking SATs if you are applying to Princeton. Otherwise, I think you can get into the other colleges. Good luck!

@SeattleBulldog That’s pretty much what I thought too, thanks! Are there any other colleges like the ones listed that would be a good fit? If it helps, I’m looking to be a computer science major, with a minor (or maybe even double major) in music.

UC Berkeley, Carnegie Mellon?

@Slick908 I should add: I’m from the New Jersey, and I’m trying to keep myself on the east coast, but I’ll definitely look into Carnegie Mellon! Thanks!

Same UVA has a fantastic business school. NYU Stern is one of the best as well. Rutgers should be a no brainer safety for you,

Oops sorry wrong post I thought you wanted to major in business for some reason lol

Everything is a match or lower, except Princeton, which unfortunately is a high reach. I’d consider replacing Princeton and a couple other schools that are highly competitive but not HYPSM. I have pretty similar stats to you and I am on the east coast. I am likely majoring in engineering, so I am also looking at math/science schools. I’m not sure how good of music program you’re looking for, but I think some schools you should consider are Dartmouth, Cornell, and northwestern, maybe UPenn, as low to moderate reaches

Also if you haven’t already you should really take the SAT IIs, which are usually requirements at upper end schools

Dubbs005 thanks for the input! I have taken them, and got a 710 on the Math 1 and not the best score on the US History one. I also took the history and psych AP tests, and will be getting my scores any day now.
