im not crazy......im just a rejected loser

BM1, you are not a rejected loser. Have you thought about all of those applicants that have nowhere to go? People being rejected by their safeties? You're going to go to a wonderful place. Don't be so pessimistic. There's more to life than college rejection letters.

you're not rejected! we think you're pretty cool.

Lyrics:
I'm not crazy, I'm just a little unwell..

You know i was the most optimistic person in this world.....if something really bad happen to me, i would always look at the bright side...but for some reason, i can do it in this situation...im tyring really hard to overlook the negative situation i am in, but i cant

Best, don't be so hard on yourself.

You shouldn't measure your worth by the rejection letters that you get. There's a lot more to life than that. The next four years of your life are nothing compared to everything else. I mean, when you grow up...do people really go, "Hi, my name is ______ and I went to ______. What about you?"

No...they don't do that. And your college experience isn't for your parents, it's for you. Many people, if not most end up attending a college that they wouldn't normally have gone to for various reasons, and yet they enjoyed the experience all the same. It isn't the institution that makes you, it's you.

enought with me......so hows it going with you guys? anything exciting lately?

sorry to butt in to your guys thread, but bestmiler...I think you were quoted in the New York Times. You're famous! ;)

^ lol nice. :)

BM1, I totally feel your pain.

Can I have your autograph lol?

lol give me your autograph too BM :)

Well, I suppose its all over now. All of my college decisions are in. No more waiting, no more dreaming, no more second guessing myself.

Nope, I'm still waiting on one school.

Think youll go to Duke?

I definitally want to go there :). I hope so.

Do you think you'll go there?

Yeah Ill most likely go there. :) EVen though fin aid wasnt too generous.

That's awesome!!!

Yeah, I don't quite know my finaid package too. I'll just have to hope for something better next year. Or start putting my finger down on applying for outside scholarships.

Thanks. :) Guess Ill be visiting Durham in a week. Unfortunately, I didnt sign up for that likely letter visit program-otherwise Id be going this weekend.

Yeah, I hope to go the week after the following one. Since that's when spring break is.

What clubs do you think youll want to join? Im definitely going to audition for orchestra.
