ok,

example:

if i get a 410 in reading , a 530 in math, and a 500 in writing on the march SAT

and then today i get a 500~ reading, 600~ math ,400~ (not true in real life)??? lets just say~writing,

will colleges take your highest score in each subject area, like they will take my writing at 500, reading at 500~, and math at 600~, or do they just take the whole score whatever higher that is?

also does it matter how many times i take the SAT for colleges to start saying things?

please, i am sure someone knows

most colleges do take the highest score in each subject area, except for the UC's and maybe a few others. You can take the SAT's up to 3 times before it starts to look bad.

ok, in october this will be my fourth and final time. what are UC's and a few others?

UC is the university of california colleges like UCLA and UC Berkely... im not sure what some of the other colleges are. im sure its not too difficult to figure out.

thanks sz

its just that you said UC's? if you would have said UC and others, i would have understood;)
