I'm taking the SATs on Saturday, and I really haven't had the time to study for the exam because of work, ecs, and school. And, to be frank, even if I had the time to study, I doubt it would help. My mind just doesn't work the way the SATs require it to. I'm pretty bummed out because I've been killing myself to get a great GPA, but my GPA and all my hard work won't matter if I get a bad SAT score.

So, knowing my SAT score will be weak, is there an official list of universities that don't require the SATs for transfer students? I know Amherst, Middlebury, Cornell, Smith, University of Richmond, John Hopkins, and the UCs don't require SAT scores, but do you know of any others?

I've done a thread search with no luck

USC doesn't require SAT scores of transfers, and Pitzer is SAT optional for all students applying.

Many colleges/universities do not require transfer applicants who will have completed two full years of college level work to submit standardized test scores.

If the SAT is horrible for you, take the ACT instead. Every place that requires a standardized test score will accept results from either exam.

If you are just plain no good at these tests, visit The National Center for Fair & Open Testing | FairTest for a current list of test optional colleges and universities.

I'd be interested in knowing more schools that don't want SATs as well...

Thanks for the list. I'm glad to see Bard, Bowdoin, Hamilton, and Connecticut College are on it. I'm pretty sad because most of my dream schools require it.
