'The Scholar Ship' abroad at sea

Study Aboard The Scholar Ship and Experience a World of Difference

I'm really, really into this idea.
Does anybody have any experience/opinions on it?

I'll be applying to the September 09' semester, if any,
so I have a while to figure out how is really works.

Sounds nice, but holy crap, it costs $20k for a 16 week trip? :|

You may want to post any questions you have about the "scholar ship" on the parents forum, as I remember there was a discusion there recently.

That's just about as much as tuition, room and board at a private college for one semester (which does not even have 16 weeks). And the ship does offer financial aid.

looks like the ship is only a 2 year thing?

The Australian university that is involved is nondescript, second tier university.
And I dont think that Cardiff University is especially highly regarded in the UK.

I'm doing something like that, only it's a 180 foot brig (tall-ship) rather than a converted cruise liner.
