I have two chances to be a Quaker, two chances to be a pioneer, and three chances to be Scottish. Gotta love LACs.

MissPickwickian: Since I know you’re hoping for Earlham, you need to know the following:

The unofficial mascot is the red squirrel. The campus has a large population of these critters who apparently believe they own the place. They’re big, fat, entertaining, and at times assertive (although never violent). Somehow, it fits. :p

The dance team that performs at football games is called the Earthquakers.

At some point in the distant past, someone realized the inappropriateness of the name “Fightin’ Quakers” and officially changed it to “Hustlin’ Quakers.” (Now there’s a name to strike fear in the hearts of the opposition!) However, the students love the irony of “Fightin’”, and that’s what they use.

How about “Conscientious Objectin’ Quakers” lol

Western Washington University: Vikings
University of Pittsburgh: Panthers
Gonzaga University: Bulldogs
University of Washington: Huskies
Pacific Lutheran University: Lutes

Most likely going to be a Lute… What is a Lute? Don’t ask me…

I’m going to be a hoosier at Indiana University. I’ve lived in Indiana all my life and I sincerly don’t know what a hoosier is, ha. I think its just a person that lives in Indiana.

Sure is. I live about 8 miles away. They have lots of banana slugs up there in the redwoods. Originally, their mascot was the Seal. I like that a LOT more. We live on the coast and we have many harbor seals barking out there in the ocean. Much cuter than slugs and instead of being SLIMY, they’re SHINY.:)
