I've been studying the English and Reading section and I've so far gotten a score of 29 & 33....do you guys have any advice for raising both scores?

Anyways, the main question I have is how to solve the science section? It's so intimidating and I don't really have a background in science. My first ACT exam is this Saturday and I'm panicking because I'm afraid I'll get a 20.....anything I should know about the science section?

The Science section is about reading graphs. Just skip the text and look at the questions, then look at the graphs to find the answer. Practice tests will help on the Science section more than any other.

Okay…so I don’t need to know terms but just try to interpret the graphs?

Im in your position as well my friend, reading, my timing cuts it very close, but i hope i can finish it. English, I have about 4 minutes left over, from what i can interpret from practice tests. For math, i have 5-6 questions left when time is up, but i figured out my problem (distractions and non-focused).

Science troubles me a lot mainly because of the time and some of the questions. I ran out of time on my practice test with 12 questions left. I have to step it up or else im done for. I hope that the above strategy works, I guess ive been doing it wrong since I read each little thing.

Even if you don’t have a strong science background, you’ve probably done a lab report, however informal, that involved a graph or table of some kind. If you have, you can pull that out and look at how you used your data to make the graph, and the meaning behind your data. If you know how to make a graph, it’ll be easier to read one.
