The Senioritis Pandemic is Officially Here!!!! (01/02/2010)

i’ve had senioritis for a while now. at first it was only with lab reports but since freshman year it’s spread to every subject =]. now that college apps are done and first semester is practically over, i really don’t care

I’ve always had a little bit of senioritis since last year, I think, but it’ll probably take until May (after the AP exams) for me to stop caring completely. Much as I would like to, I can’t. It’s strange, but I can’t seem to just stop.

Although I have stopped caring about my Politics class. So that’s a start.

the cure for senioritis:

TAMIFLU.

^Or graduation. Whichever comes first.

Wait how would TAMUIFLU help?

How wouldn’t it help? That is the question.

I’m confused. Does this have some deep meaning or something?

to be honest, this second semester, I cannot wait to start, and not beause i will slack off. It will be like the one time in my life when I will learn to just learn and not for a grade.

I guess I don’t really expect to get senioritis. I’ve always kind of enjoyed school. It saddens me when I see people who view high school as nothing more than a means of getting into college.

SENIORITIS!! Our senior shirts say that >> that we’re INFECTED with it  Thank you H1N1 for giving us the idea ;)

Anyway, I think I’ll slack a bit, but none of the crazy senioritis. To be honest, I get REALLY GUILTY when I don’t do my homework. Right now it’s killing me that my essay isn’t finished yet. I’ll finish it, turn it in on time, but procrastination is going to seep into my soul… oh no!

Two weeks and I can give into it. My hardest final is already over, so I’m happy.

I told myself that Senioritis was not going to happen to me. A little after SAT’s and apps (Nov) I started to tank. My grades suck right now. But, now I need to work, 7th semester grades were requested -_-.

Everyone in my class is going to be shocked tomorrow when they see how terribly I did on my December exam. :)

I’m thinking after semester finals (late January), after AD states (Feb 28), or after AP exams (May urghh). Not sure when it’ll hit me, lol.

tamiflu=cure for pandemics.

the H1N1 variant that is.

graduation: 100% guaranteed cure for senioritis.

Senioritis: been around for as long as principals remember, the pandemic ALWAYS breaks out among seniors of US public high schools. There are many forms of transmission, nearly all start within one self before spreading to his acquaintances. (remember: monkey see, monkey do.)

symptoms are many. However, we all know when senioritis strikes. It cannot be said; it can only be experienced.

please be advised, do not submit to peer pressure when senioritis strike your friends.

senioritis is even more contagious than the common cold, and even love. . .so be careful!

*disclaimer: I am not a certified doctor or medical personal. I do not possess any degrees or achievements in the medical field. I will not be held liable for any incorrect information I might have written.

please feel free to add to whatever I said.

heh heh heh. . . . :D

i don’t have senioritis; i just procrastinate (i STARTED on my yale app 12 hours before it was due) like a moefoe. or maybe that is senioritis??

but anyway, i’m still gonna care for my grades and read anything that’s required for my english and government classes. the rest of my classes are easy so i wont worry about those.

but i have a question for all of you who are “infected” w/ senioritis: are y’all gonna be ok for college???

i know i’ll keep procrastinating, just on a more toned-down level lol

I’ve worked my ass off since day 1 of Kindergarten.

I think I deserve to relax a little halfway through my last year.

To someone who’s clueless – what’s TAMIFLU?

And senioritis hit me ever since the Yale acceptance came through. I have Jan A Levels in 2 wks and I haven’t started studying yet (and yes, I didn’t study before because I was so obsessed with apps. bleh).

Senioritis ftw :D

I’ve had it since the beginning of the year. It’s weird though. Like I feel like I don’t care, but I’ll end up doing the work (just a lot later than I should). After first semester finals, I’m sure it’ll get worst.

Senioritis is here full blast… high school is over… that’s all.
