The seriousness of this problem

I live in East Asia and we take the test before (almost) everyone else does. What I don't understand is how did they know that the Jan 2007 and Dec 2005 tests are identical if they are the first ones to take the test. And where did you get this rumor from?

Supposedly some private school got the December 2005 test for review (although I'm not sure how they got it as it was never officially released), and it was given to the students for review. The school supposedly did not know that it would be the actual test, but it turned out to be the same one.

According to one of the news stories that someone linked to, they didn't really have the test, they compiled the questions from the Internet.

It would be pretty funny if they had gotten them all from here. =)

i haven't got it yet. does that mean they knew abt this in advance?

I doubt those Koreans are very smart, so even with cheating, they would still not be able to get a high score.

Foil, you're such a racist

i doubt it's koreans or chinese

Foil - so who's the smartest in East Asia?

According to the poll, Korea has the highest IQ compared to China and Japan (along with literacy rates). smartest is not measurable in any other means (at least the SAT is not a very good standard) so..yeah

I'm a Korean myself :P not that I knew the questions beforehand anyway.

oh snap..... so if they found out this was wrong, they are gonna cancel everybody's score? or just Korean's score even if I took the test in the States... omg.. whats going on!!

some of the institutes sent emails to several Korean students in the U.S previously enrolled to the institute so this problem could extend to these students. Cancel Everyone's Score -> Doubtful
