Mention whatever you like about The Simpsons - the characters, episodes, jokes, how long you have been a fan,... anything.

I've been watching it since my 6th Grade (1999/2000). My favorite episode's the Frank Grimes one, and the 2-part episode in which Maggie shoots Mr. Burns.

Are you really that bored to be talkin bout the Simpsons? I mean I thought this was a college thing??? Anywho...I used to watch the Simpsons...Not anymore...haha =] The only thing I seem to remember about it though is Homer Simpson's bald, shiny head....and Marge's long cylinder like fro...oh yeah and the daughter's weird shaped head...[[I guess it runs in the family]]

I've been watching it since I was around 4 (1992ish I guess). I haven't really followed it over the last few years. But as a result of watching so many episodes, I can come up with a Simpsons reference for soo many different situations. Anyway. Here's a random quote!

Homer Simpson: Books are useless! I only ever read one book, "To Kill A Mockingbird" and it gave me absolutely no insight on how to kill mockingbirds! Sure it taught me not to judge a man by the colour of his skin... but what good does that do me?

I was privileged enough to live in the town of Springfield, OR for almost a decade, where creator Matt Groening intended for the show to take place. Other than that, my dad was a fan of the Simpsons back when they were a series of shorts on the Tracy Ullman show back in '87, so I think my interest in the Simpsons was a genetic predisposition :-) My mom on the other hand, didn't really like the humor of the show, so I'd watch it with my dad when mom wasn't at home.
Lisa and Homer are probably my favorite characters. It's so weird that Homer could produce something so smart. Ralph Wiggum gets honorable mention, but he does have some of the best quotes.
"Me fail English? That's unpossible!" or how about talking to the superintendent: "Hi, Super Nintendo Chalmers!"

^ Well Homer is actually pretty smart remember he stuck a crayon up his nose that caused him to be stupid. Then they removed the crayon but he was sad so he put it back up his nose.

Family Guy is pretty good but, the newer ones just aren't going that well.

Actually I consider this season of the Simpsons is a lot better then Family Guy(with the exception of the episodes where Stewie kills Louis).

Oh yeah! I totally forgot about that episode: Homer says "there's a crayon in my brain?" and points to his stomach :-)
I like Family Guy and South Park, but I agree, the newer episodes of Family Guy are "meh." You must be excited, though, that Futurama is coming back for an all new season. That's the second time Fox has revived a popular series - I wonder how much of a role Cartoon Network's Adult Swim played in its revival...

There's also the Simpson's gene found only on the Y chromosome.

We don't get to watch Family Guy or South Park here in Nepal, so don't know anything 'bout them...But The Simpsons is the my favorite.
Are they making a sequel to the movie?? If so, then GREAT!!
