It’s a KNOWN FACT that the Ivy reserves 30% of its slots for LEGACY!

<p>I understand it to be about half that, as in this quote from an article in The Economist: “In most Ivy League institutions, legacies make up between 10% and 15% of every freshman class.” Here are some more quotes, from the Ivies’ own newspapers:</p>

Last week, Brown University’s admissions office sent out acceptance and rejection letters to applicants for the class of 2008. Of those who received acceptance letters, six to seven percent were children of alumni.
