The Stanford SCEA Decisions Thread 2014

With the SCEA decisions for the QB applicants arriving any day now, I think it is appropriate to create a decisions thread. Do post your decision here.

As for me, I am just a normal SCEA applicant (by normal I mean non-QB)

Cheers! and Good Luck!

You might also want to join the Stanford SCEA fb group::

[/ul]Other Factors:
General Comments/Congratulations/Venting/Commiserations,etc: I’m still in shock. I’m still waiting for all my friends and family to get home from after school activities, and I’ve only gotten the call, not the email. It just doesn’t seem possible.

Congratulations.

I’m sure you’ll be an excellent edition to the Stanford community.

oh nice! i’m jealous! I wanna know my decision! hehe how did u find out so quickly?

tenorforlife: Questbridge applicants get their decisions early. This thread is actually just for QB kids.

Well, there was only one other student I know of from Yale and he was on Facebook, not CC. There’s no point in creating a whole thread with one post in it. One QB student isn’t going to ruin a whole SCEA thread.

^ agreed it is noted she is a qb applicant on the post anyways

congrats!!! all the best:)

remember that discussion isnt supposed to happen on this thread. we all want to congratulate her but we dont want the thread to be cluttered!

oof. what exactly is questbridge?

@ both

Congrats!

Not true, I saw several International kids on the QB thread, I’m sure International students can participate too.

Congrats applicannot  Like someone said, you’d make a great addition to the Stanford community.

Congrats you guys! :)

applicannot: I’m really curious about your online high school. How does that work?

PM me about it if you’re curious. Guys, NJDS was right, we should really keep this thread clear of discussion to keep it clean for SCEA decisions in two weeks.

NOTE TO THE MODERATORS:
Can you clean this thread up? I don’t know if you can move just some posts to another thread, but if you can, you can move the discussion posts to Stanford 2014 SCEAers.

^^

Do not worry about that.

SCEA decisions will go in another thread. This is only for QB decisions.

ATTN MODERATOR::
I have lost the power to edit the name of this thread. It would really be helpful if it could be named to “The Official Stanford SCEA Decisions 2014 [Only QuestBridge applicants]”

I know, but I’m saying that’s stupid. There are only two QB applicants. Are you really going to shunt us to another thread all together because TWO of us got our decisions TWO weeks early? It’s not like there are a dozen of us. And honestly, our acceptance rate is considerably lower than yours for early action, so it’s not like we’re not as qualified as you.

I thought I read somewhere yesterday that Stanford took around 24 QB applicants (not that they all prowl CC, of course.)

Stanford took 26. There are three on CC.
