The steps to ensure a successful transfer into EECS?

Would taking Physics 7A, Math 53, and Comp Sci 61A, and maintaining a high overall GPA (which would be what exactly?) in those classes be enough to apply for a transfer from bioengineering into EECS? (What I mean is what GPA should I aim for in the fall so that my transfer application in the Spring semester into EECS would be approved?) (and if my major change app was rejected, what should I do then if I really want to go into EECS?) Thanks for reading this!

What part of EECS interests you? If it’s CS then it’s pretty easy to learn on your own because everything you need to learn is available on the Internet for free.

If you are only interested in CS, it would be easier for you to switch into L&S and major in CS. You would only benefit from EECS over CS if you were interested in doing work in EE.

Not CS, I want to switch into ECE Option 2: the robotics/bioelectronics one
